How you make a difference

As a Behavior Analyst in Hampstead, you'll lead the clinical oversight of behavior treatment programs for your assigned unit, designing target behaviors, monitoring data trends, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Your role involves providing clinical consultation to unit staff and educational personnel on behavioral programming, alongside ongoing evaluation and training to ensure the efficacy of the clinical program. By leveraging your expertise, you'll contribute to creating a supportive environment that fosters positive behavioral outcomes for individuals under your care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise and stay current in the specialty area while providing clinical oversight of behavioral and educational programming.

  • Develop target behaviors upon admission, initiate data tracking, and adjust behavior plans based on analyzed data.

  • Train and supervise direct care staff in implementing behavior support plans and provide family consultation/training on behavior plans and treatment.

  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards set by the BACB, maintain ABA certifications, and provide ongoing monitoring of assigned cases.

  • Oversee documentation quality to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, State Licensing, and Medicare standards, while also conducting in-service training on behavioral science and treatment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Ability to become Board Certified within one year of hire.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in applied behavior analysis or five (5) years of experience in a behavioral treatment setting preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • Board certified in ABA (BCBA) preferred.

  • Specialty Certification when appropriate

  • Complete CPR Certification (within 3 months of hire)

  • Complete CPI Certification (within 3 months of hire)

Compliance

  • Corporate Compliance (within 2 months of hire)
