How you make a difference
The Clinical Education Specialist collaborates with management and staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitates, and revise educational programming for all levels of personnel. This position acts as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of all staff at the site.
Key Responsibilities
Ensures programs adhere to organizational and regulatory standards using standardized learning principles.
Develops and implements educational programs for staff orientation and professional development.
Facilitates orientations and annual trainings, including CPR and CPI certifications.
Evaluates educational program outcomes to guide continuous improvement.
Supports leadership decisions impacting clinical practice and engages in strategic planning and educational activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Required: Masters in psychology, social work, or related field.
Experience
Required: Five (5) years’ experience as a mental health professional in a healthcare or mental health treatment setting
Preferred: Three (3) years’ experience in a leadership position
Licenses/Certifications
- Required: CPI and CPR certification (given upon hire at the facility)
Compliance
- Must adhere to compliance requirements from company, client agency, and accreditation bodies
